RVPO: A New Momentum to Support the Circular Economy for Agricultural Plastics

A long-standing leader in plastics recycling, RVPO (Recyclage Valorisation Plastiques Ouest) is embarking on a new chapter in its growth.

The company affirms its independence and commitment to an increasingly efficient circular economy. With two complementary industrial sites located in Landemont (Maine-et-Loire) and Vernie (Sarthe), in Western France, RVPO draws on more than 125 employees and its recognised expertise in plastic recycling.

Its industrial infrastructure is one of the company’s key strengths. The Landemont site specializes in the recovery of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) films from the agricultural and commercial sectors. Thanks to high-performance equipment for sorting, washing, shredding, extrusion, and pelletising, it has an annual processing capacity of 34,000 tons of recycled materials. In Vernie, expertise is focused on recycling rigid PVC, particularly from the construction sector, with a capacity of 18,000 tons in micronized or granulated form. Those two industrial platforms enable RVPO to offer recycled raw materials that meet the technical requirements of converters and manufacturers.

This new phase comes with an ambitious strategy. By gaining greater autonomy and agility, RVPO aims to strengthen its close relationships with customers, accelerate its innovation capabilities, and develop solutions that are increasingly tailored to market expectations. In particular, the company is committed to continuously improving the quality of its recycled materials, securing its supply chains, and providing technical support to its partners in integrating recycled raw materials. This focus reflects a clear commitment: to make recycling a true driver of competitiveness and environmental performance.
