A family business founded in 1997 in Lozère, Environnement Massif Central has established itself as a leading player in plastics recycling in France, combining strong regional roots, industrial performance and a long-term vision of the circular economy. An overview by its Chairman.

With more than 100 employees, Environnement Massif Central plays a key role in developing efficient and environmentally friendly recycling channels: its positioning is fully in line with the logic of local management of materials, security of supplies and reducing the carbon footprint of plastics.

Specialising in the sorting, washing and regeneration of plastics, our company has state-of-the-art industrial equipment, including 20 Pellenc optical sorting machines with an annual capacity of 60,000 tonnes and five industrial washing lines capable of processing up to 40,000 tonnes per year. Three extruders complete this system, enabling us to produce high-quality recycled plastics that meet the growing demands of processors and contractors.
