Meeting in Beijing on 13 November, the Executive Committee of the International Committee for Plastics in Agriculture (CIPA) marked a decisive step in structuring the network and expanding its international presence. Here is an update on the progress made and the prospects for the future.

An expanding network

With 7 members and 13 partner organisations, CIPA continues to grow, notably thanks to the arrival of NoWaste, the first member organisation from the Middle East. Its innovative solution – a mobile application that facilitates the management and collection of agricultural plastic waste – perfectly illustrates the network’s desire to promote tools adapted to local realities and countries that still lack structured systems.
