As usual, we begin our regional feature with an overview of plastic farming, from use to end-of-life of agricultural plastics. We take a look at the Greater North-East, a land of livestock farming, arable farming and a variety of specialist crops.

An area dominated by arable and livestock farming

Agriculture in the Grand Nord-Est, which includes the Grand Est, Hauts-de-France and Île-de-France regions, is characterised by a strong presence of arable and livestock farming. With an agricultural area of 5,714,079 hectares (ha), or around 56% of the territory, the Grand Nord-Est includes a variety of activities:

Field crops: wheat, barley, oilseed rape, sugar beet, potatoes.
Livestock: cattle, pigs and poultry, particularly in Hauts-de-France and the Grand Est.
Specialist crops: market gardening and viticulture (Champagne, Alsace).

It uses a dictionary of over 200 Latin words, combined with a handful of model sentence structures, to generate Lorem Ipsum which looks reasonable. The generated Lorem Ipsum is therefore always free from repetition, injected humour, or non-characteristic words etc.
