Give plasticulture products new functionalities to limit the use of chemical compounds

Plasticulture has created an authentic revolution in farming, which is ongoing: AIMPLAS has directed innovations to give functionality to plasticulture products by providing them with antimicrobial, antifungal and nutritional properties. Plasticulture Magazine publishes the first results.
Increasing functionalities can be achieved by the addition of natural extracts and active ingredients of natural origin to polymeric matrices with the aim of reducing the use of chemical compounds. The main challenge is to protect these natural additives so that they can withstand the processing conditions required for incorporation during the transformation processes. Furthermore, these natural active ingredients should not interfere with the product’s end of life (recyclability, soil quality after composting or biodegradation).
Adsorption
Adsorption is one of the technologies used for the protection of natural extracts. During the adsorption process, natural active substances are incorporated into porous substrates such as mesoporous silica and nanoclays.
There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don't look even slightly believable. If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn't anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text. All the Lorem Ipsum generators on the Internet tend to repeat predefined chunks as necessary, making this the first true generator on the Internet. It uses a dictionary of over 200 Latin words, combined with a handful of model sentence structures, to generate Lorem Ipsum which looks reasonable. The generated Lorem Ipsum is therefore always free from repetition, injected humour, or non-characteristic words etc.
