Technological advances in insect-proof nets. CPA Technical Days 2012
Insect nets represent an effective physical barrier against most economically harmful bio-pests, including the whitefly Bemisia Tabaci.
The counterpart of their use is generally that of a potentially harmful climate change, particularly in greenhouses, on openings.
By co-developing ULTRAVENT®, a more aerated net, with INRA, TEXINOV, a French SME, is achieving a major technological advance, as can be the use of new bio-compostable material (PLA) for its leading net, FILBIO®.
