At a time when the need for a circular economy is widely recognised, the stakeholders in the plastic industry are all making the same observation: the reality of the market makes the economic equation between virgin and recycled materials a difficult one. But solutions do exist! Explanations and recommendations from the Plasticulture and Agroenvironment Committee.

Why integrating recycled materials is not a priority

While targets for recycling and the integration of PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) are increasingly sought and desirable, it has to be said that there are still many obstacles to achieving the European targets of 30%2, particularly for agricultural plastics. In particular, there is a real problem of competitiveness in getting manufacturers to switch en masse to the use of recycled materials.

There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don't look even slightly believable. If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn't anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text. All the Lorem Ipsum generators on the Internet tend to repeat predefined chunks as necessary, making this the first true generator on the Internet. It uses a dictionary of over 200 Latin words, combined with a handful of model sentence structures, to generate Lorem Ipsum which looks reasonable. The generated Lorem Ipsum is therefore always free from repetition, injected humour, or non-characteristic words etc.
