Agricultural film manufacturers are increasingly investing in recycling and incorporating recycled materials into their products. This is the case at Trioworld, which has been engaged in a far-reaching transformation over the last fifteen years to become a leading player in the circular economy, in particular through its Ombrée d’Anjou recycling unit. In 15 years, Trioworld has gone from being a plastic film manufacturer to a key player in the circular economy. This change illustrates a strong commitment to meeting environmental challenges while responding to growing economic and social needs. The Ombrée d’Anjou recycling site in western France plays a central role in this strategy, supported by investment in advanced technology, human talent and modern infrastructure. These efforts are supported by ADEME (French Ecological Transition Agency) through the France 2030 plan, which helps companies invest in the ecological transition. The site has become a driving force behind the circular transition, both locally and internationally.
